I’m not sure if I should be upset with the hotel or Travelocity. I booked a room there so my sisters and me could attend my nephews state championship game at Ole Miss tomorrow. I arrived at the hotel and the desk attendant tells me that my reservation was canceled. I contacted Travelocity and they still had the reservation confirmed. The attendant said that they did not cancel the room and Travelocity said they did not cancel the room. We traveled over two hours and find out when we arrive that we do not have a room and all of the Oxford hotels are booked. We had to drive 45 minutes to find a room in New Albany. I will never do business with Hampton Inn or Travelocity again. I have never been this upset.
Nothing special. Below Average beds and bedding. Average or below breakfast. Have gotten better for the money...
The location is great and the room was very comfortable. Will stay again the next time business brings me into town!
The hotel looks nice from the outside. Location wise it's close to several restaurants and not too far from downtown. The rooms were clean but had a major humidity issue. Could just have been my room, but setting the AC to anything above 75F made the humidity jump to around 60%. Besides that, I have no complaints.
This was a very pleasant stay! I love their breakfast! And they have some of the best coffee! The heated pool was nice and warm! With the friendly staff and nice rooms! I will definitely stay here again!
