The staff was super friendly and made me feel very comfortable because going to the eye doctor always make me nervous. To top it off Dr. Turner has a great sense of humor and I love his great spirit and how he treat his patients with the up-most respect. I really enjoyed my visit and plan to continue coming to see Dr. Turner for years to come.
He told me my daughter could go blind... because of a lazy eye. He put me through so much stress and turmoil for nothing. We went to Rayner and had a helpful prognosis and successful therapy.
I have been a patient with Dr. Turner for years and I have always felt comfortable with his service. He is truly a nice man who does is utmost to help those that come see him. As long as he is in business, I will be going there!!
During my consultation Dr. Turner told me he doesn't like to take ambetter insurance (my provider) because he makes less money from them...incredibly distasteful bedside manner. Then it took 5 weeks for me to get my glasses and that's only after I went in personally to see what the hold up was.
Terrible. Period. Dr. Turner is the used car salesman of eye doctors.
To sum my experience up: the doctor is greedy and his staff isn't much better. I STRONGLY!!! recommend that everyone from oxford use a different doctor.
