My experience with Locals has been a gauntlet of frustration, despair,, and disappointment. I'm not an unreasonable or bellicose individual by nature, and having worked in the industry, understand that mistakes happen with orders. However, with Locals, the norm is usually receiving orders are that partial or outright wrong. Order a rebel burger: wrong burger. Order two items: only receive one. Order buffalo wings with ranch: receive a dozen dry chicken wings with no sauce. In the event that you may have to inform the staff that your order is, indeed, in need of rectification, expect that you will have to convince a brusque and inattentive manager that the unimaginable has indeed happened, followed by receiving yet another incorrect order because they weren't paying attention to what you were saying was wrong in the first place.
We waited for 45 minutes for our food- waitress said they were plating our food and someone else said they hadn't started on our order....all of this while the "manager" played pool! We walked out and will not go back. There are too many great places in Oxford to eat to put up with this! Please close down so a business that wants to be there can move in!
Both of our sandwiches were awful. So disappointing. I had never had a Philly Cheesesteak so dry and overcooked before. And my wife's burger was no better.
